Our overall view of Sur Properties is very good, however one or two of the third parties seem to be letting the side down in different ways. The lawyer who got our N.I.E. numbers got them from the Hacienda and not from the police. He assured me that it was the only number I would get – it was not accepted by any official on the Island. Elaine & I had to go to the police station in Los Americas in order to obtain a N.I.E. number from the police. This was indeed the same number, as obtained from the Hacienda, but now it was accepted, without question, by all officials. Neil & Elaine Manley 29-01-2006
